Customs & import fees
Nothing to pay at your door.
Every pair of HEXXEE socks is made in the UK and ships from the UK. For orders to the EU and the USA we pay the import charges up front, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
🇪🇺 EU orders: delivered duty paid (IOSS)
- We're registered for the EU's Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS), so EU VAT is included in the price at checkout.
- We also pay the import charges: the EU customs duty on parcels from outside the EU (€3, since 1 July 2026) and the EU customs handling fee (from 1 November 2026), plus Royal Mail's customs clearance fee.
- There's nothing to pay when your parcel arrives. No customs fee, no handling fee, no surprises.
- These charges are per parcel, not per pair, which is why EU orders need a minimum of 2 pairs. Packs count in full (an X3 pack is 3 pairs). Gift cards, Parcel Protection and free gifts don't count.
🇺🇸 US orders: duty prepaid by HEXXEE
- US parcels travel with Royal Mail's duty-paid service (PDDP). We pay the US import duty before your parcel leaves the UK.
- There's nothing to pay on delivery and no bill from the carrier.
- Like the EU, US orders need a minimum of 2 pairs.
🇬🇧 UK orders
No customs at all: your order ships from within the UK.
🌍 Everywhere else (for example Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Australia)
We don't collect duties or import taxes at checkout for these countries. Your local customs may charge import duty, taxes or a handling fee on delivery, and you'll need to pay those.
Asked to pay a fee anyway?
If a carrier asks you to pay anything for an EU or US order, don't pay it. Email hello@hexxee.com with your order number and a photo of the notice and we'll sort it out.
